In 2022 five like-minded musicians who have diverse and unique experiences from around the world came together to form "Aurora V". Each member has a deep passion for music especially "Rock and Roll".

John has more than 30 years of experience playing bass in many original and cover bands. He was an original member of the Midwest regional touring Hard Rock Band " Under Social". He is featured on their album "Long Strange Trip". John appeared in both of the supporting album videos before relocating to the Tampa Bay area.
Joe was technically trained at a very young age traveling the country playing jazz, fusion, country, funk, rock, and metal. Joe has recorded his drum chops in several top studios, not only sharing the stage with many national acts in eight different original music projects. Joe played drums for Pat Travers when he performed at Coachman Park in Clearwater. His professional journey has allowed him to be seen and heard on stages big and small, radio, television, magazines both national and international.
Malou started singing at a very young age. She developed her vocals by singing at church and school events. At the age of 13, she fell in love with classic rock. Malou expanded her vocals by singing different types of genres in music at local bars, hotels, and casinos in Cebu, Philippines. After graduating college, She pursued her singing career and started travelling throughout Southeast Asia and performing with several bands as lead vocalist for over a decade. Malou then moved to the States and sang with "Grey Sunday Band" and she also performed for various community events in Georgia. In 2018, she relocated to the Tampa Bay area and joined "Busline 13" as lead vocalist until establishing "Aurora V" with four other musicians to share their passions for music.
Don is a self-taught musician, starting at the early age of 9. He has over 25 years of experience playing Lead guitar. He was selected out of a small percentage of musicians in the Philippines to work in the Entertainment Industry playing overseas in countries such as United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, Don performed live nightly for over 10 years under contract for an Entertainment company. Here he played for an International Clientele at some of the best-known venues for live music in Hong Kong. This company also provided session work & live events, playing a variety of genres. He has recently relocated to the Tampa Bay Area.
Mallory was classically trained by a concert pianist, as well as a jazz improvisationist, and for music theory and composition at the Julius Hartt School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut. Then at 16, Mal was accepted to Berklee College of Music, but instead studied engineering, a career path which led to three patents and an early retirement. Free to play music full time, Mal has since been involved with many acts, including the Funk Monsters, Cherry Crave, Millie Puente, Otis and the Old School Band, Stardust Memories (Mark Alan's David Bowie tribute), Phoenix, Fusor, and now Aurora 5. Appreciative of most genres, Mal's favorite is now and always has been, classic rock. Rock On!
Performing and playing music feeds our souls. Being in the band is our way to fulfill our passions and to bring it to others for enjoyment. We are evolving to continue our adventures in music. Our gear is always packed up and we are ready to tour all over Tampa Bay for local bars, corporate events, and private parties and with the occasional festival appearances in cities across the country.
